Origins of the Name Precious Gems Supportive Services

The word Precious means valuable, priceless, expensive, costly, choice, dear, irreplaceable and rare. In addition, precious means beloved, adored, favorite, dear, dearest, darling, prized, treasured and valued. Gems are precious stones that have been cut. A gem is a naturally occurring material desirable for its beauty, valuable in its rarity, and sufficiently durable to give lasting pleasure. Children are the most precious gems of our society and should be treated as such. Supportive means to give moral or psychological aid and/or to encourage. It means to strengthen and empower another; especially during times of distress. Service isn’t about gaining recognition for what we do, but going beyond your own personal responsibility. We know that life often provides cuts and scratches for the bereaved; however, our mission is to provide them with the tools that will aid in their refining process. Therefore, all who request our services are considered to be Precious Gems.
